J. Baldwin owners opening new restaurant, Testa Barra

February 24, 2017 – The owners of the popular J. Baldwin’s restaurant in Clinton Township are on a new eating endeavor. They’re opening a new restaurant in Macomb Township called Testa Barra.

It’s in the corner of Waldenburg Plaza at Romeo Plank and 22 Mile roads. The Baldwin family says the restaurant will have a modern Italian farm-to-table feel, and its goal is to be the neighborhood spot. It’s opening May 1. Read more…

Baldwin’s Restaurant in Clinton Township say more fun and a little spice are part of the recipe for their second eatery, which will open in early 2017 in Macomb Township. 25th annual ArtParty raises more than $30,000 for Anton Art Center

September 15, 2016 – More than 400 of the Mount Clemens area’s movers and shakers gathered Thursday for ArtParty, the annual fundraiser for the Anton Art Center, but several vendors and guests were first-time visitors…One of the most-talked about dishes of the night was J. New eatery coming into Macomb Township

August 31, 2016 – The owners of upscale J. Baldwin’s Restaurant in Clinton Township are expanding their business ventures into Macomb Township. Jeff and Rose Baldwin will be opening Testa Barra, an establishment rooted in Italian cuisine, this February. The co-owners appeared before the Macomb Township Board of Trustees Aug. 24 to obtain pre-approval for a liquor license, which they successfully received. Read more…

The electrical fire ruined the entire dining room and the office area of J. Baldwin’s. But, they are back now and better than ever. Customers are loving the new look of the renovated dining room and the new menu items from Jeff’s son, Chef Michael Baldwin.
